Helpful Hints?

Has anyone got some helpful hints for my student class in the best home tips for fixing, resolving the home small but regular occurances. From financial – appliances – outside the home – car maintenance – gardening and the best family recipes for quick healthy meals.

If the lights go out – flip the main breaker and do not turn it back on until you are sure the electricity is on and stable. This is so if the electricity comes back on there may be a power surge which can destroy household appliances, computers, central heating, etc.

Lots of people had this happen during Hurricane Rita

    In the afternoon or at nightime snacks and dinner are best made with less carbs then morning meals because we can burn off our calories in the day but if we stack up on calories and then go to sleep we arent burning off the energy
